The final event for Reading Across RI was a great success with over 500 readers gathered to hear the author of Shadow Divers, Rob Kurson and the two main characters, Richie Kohler and John Chatterton.

Audiences at eight high schools and two libraries participated in the 2006 RARI videoconference on Friday, May 5th, hosted by Barrington High School: Chariho Regional, Cumberland & East Greenwich Libraries, and East Providence, Narragansett, North Providence, Tiverton, Westerly and Woonsocket High Schools.
RINET streamed the videoconference and it is available online at: for the next few weeks.
